Dr George Paras

George Paras is a Assistant Professor at the University of Thessaly (Department of Physiotherapy). He has Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (1996) from the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" (Faculty of Physiotherapy) in Sofia. He received his Ph.D. Degree (2002) from the same University - Faculty: Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. His field of expertise is Neurological Physiotherapy. His research interests span the areas of neurological rehabilitation, assessment and treatment of pediatric neurological disorders. He is a member of Human Performance and Rehabilitation Laboratory. He is tutor in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in physiotherapy. He is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Panhellenic Physiotherapy Association. He has attended numerous postgraduate courses and specialized clinical seminars. He has publications, participations in scientific conferences and has been a member of research groups in research projects.
